Basic Seminar on Dangerous Goods Laws for Railways

Extensive legal regulations apply to the safe transport of dangerous goods by rail. Our basic seminar on rail dangerous goods regulations provides practical and understandable training on all relevant requirements – from international frameworks to national laws and ordinances.

The aim of the training is to build a solid understanding of the applicable dangerous goods legislation and to ensure confidence in handling these regulations in daily operations. The content is specifically tailored to the requirements of rail freight transport.

Training Content:

  • Introduction to international dangerous goods law, in particular the RID
  • National regulations: GGVSEB, RSEB, GGAV, GGBefG and others
  • Structure, organization and application of the individual regulations
  • Practical examples and common application errors
  • Responsibilities, duties and monitoring options

Target Group:

The Basic Seminar on Rail Dangerous Goods Regulations is aimed at:

  • Employees involved in the transport of dangerous goods
  • Railway undertakings (RU)
  • Professionals from logistics, transport planning and quality assurance
  • Persons with responsibility in the field of dangerous goods law

Note:

Violations of dangerous goods regulations can lead to fines and other official measures. This training provides the foundation for legally compliant and safe practices in rail transport.
