Vehicle Bodies and Tanks

This seminar provides you with a solid introduction to the different types of vehicle structures and tanks – with a special focus on damage assessment, markings, and regulations.

Training contents:

  • Various designs and structures – Basics of boxcars, sliding wall wagons, tank cars, and more.
  • Special types – Specific vehicle types and their structural characteristics.
  • Damage and defects – Recognizing, assessing, and documenting typical weak points.
  • Markings according to AVV Annex 11 – Meaning, layout, and requirements for vehicle labeling.
  • VPI-EMG 03 and AVV Annex 10 – Important regulations and their practical application.

For practical consolidation of the topics, the seminar will include approx. 40% practical training directly on various freight wagons.

Additonal or different topics are possible by arrangement.
