Additional Training to Become a Brake Quality Inspector

Employees in quality assurance bear significant responsibility: they inspect freight wagons after modifications, maintenance, and overhaul work, identify and assess defects and damage, and determine appropriate corrective measures.

This additional training is aimed, among others, at individuals who require operational release authorization for freight wagons.

Training contents:

• Inspection techniques, possible damages and defects – Systematic visual and functional inspections.
• Operational and inspection limit dimensions – Knowing and correctly applying limit values.
• Roadworthiness and operational safety – Criteria for safe commissioning and continued operation.
• Regulations, inspection records, checklists, forms – Professional documentation and legally compliant records.
• Locks, bolts, fasteners – Inspection of critical connecting elements.
• Permitted greases and lubricants – Areas of application, approvals, and regulations.
• Completeness and correct markings – Identifying and checking relevant labels and inscriptions.

For practical consolidation of the topics, the seminar will include approx. 40% practical training directly on various freight wagons.

Additonal or different topics are possible by arrangement.
