Tank Wagon Technology Seminar II

In our "Tank Car Technology II" Seminar, we provide theoretical knowledge about the construction of tank cars and the safety aspects of handling them. Additionally, we cover advanced specialized knowledge on fittings, seals, material properties, and other tank-specific issues. Using models and other visual aids, we convey these concepts in a practical and relatable manner.

We focus primarily on the following areas of tank car technology:

  • Tank technology
  • Fittings
  • Equipment parts
  • Safety-relevant components such as protection against overriding buffers, crash buffers, derailment detectors

To practically deepen the understanding of these topics, booking the training tank car is recommended.

Our training tank car for tank car training includes the essential loading and unloading and safety equipment of modern hazardous materials tank cars. Professionals in the railway and logistics industries use the tank car for various training purposes, such as:

  • Theoretical training: Acquire fundamental knowledge about the construction, safety aspects, and operation of tank cars.
  • Practical training: Learn through hands-on exercises how to operate loading and unloading equipment, perform inspections, and handle safety-related tasks.

Additonal or different topics are possible by arrangement.
